Wataru Izumi is a middle school student who loves sweets. He is also a member of the Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode team. He has brown hair and bandages on his arms. One day, Wataru was walking home from school when he saw a strange girl. She was wearing a dress made of cake and she had a cupcake on her head. Wataru was confused, but he decided to follow her. The girl led Wataru to a magical world called the Sweets Kingdom. In the Sweets Kingdom, all the food is alive and the people are made of sweets. Wataru was amazed by the Sweets Kingdom, but he was also worried. He knew that the evil Queen Frost had been trying to take over the Sweets Kingdom, and he was afraid that she would succeed. Wataru decided to help the Pretty Cures defeat Queen Frost and save the Sweets Kingdom. He used his love of sweets to create powerful weapons for the Pretty Cures. He also helped them to learn how to use their powers. With Wataru's help, the Pretty Cures were able to defeat Queen Frost and save the Sweets Kingdom.
